Fall Ski Camp
Camp Objectives: To create the highest level of personal training in a productive environment for athletes via staff, prime training arenas, less crowding, hands on dryland, awesome lodging, constant coaching and one on one video.
Camp Information
This will be our 24th year in Colorado for early season training. The Fall Alpine Camp is based at Copper Mountain. We do all of our free skiing at Vail and Copper Mt. We conduct gate training at Copper Mt. and if necessary also at Loveland. Copper and Loveland have the best snow conditions in November with outstanding snow making capabilities. Our camp offers certified coaches for all athletes, private lanes, and two training sessions per day, each training session is 2 ½ hours long.
Training
We teach modern slalom and GS techniques. The athlete can work on fundamentals, train mountain GS and slalom, and work on their physical & mental conditioning.
Cost - $TBD - all inclusive
Cost of the camp is TBD This price includes: All ground transportation, 7 day lift tickets, lodging, lane fees, coaching, video, evening clinics, guest speakers, use of equipment, three meals a day, use of the Copper Mt. Training Center, tax and gratuities and a camp t-shirt.
A $500.00 deposit is required by Oct. 20, 2008, along with the completed application. The balance is due by Nov. 1, along with the flight information. Visa, MasterCard and Discover accepted with a 2% processing charge added. You will receive an acknowledgement packet upon receipt of your application. Refunds are possible only if I am notified by Nov. 1, 2008. There are no exceptions
Early Sign up Discount
Pay for the camp in full by September 15, you may take $50.00 off the price of the camp Check must accompany application to receive discount. Families with two or more participants may take $50.00 off the total price per family.
Accommodations
We stay slope side at Copper Mountain condominiums Center Village, which have a five star rating. Two and three bedrooms with kitchen, living room, three bathrooms, and fireplace are the norm. There are laundry facilities, a hot tub, and a sauna in the building. Four to six athletes plus a coach will stay in each condo. Please indicate any roommate request on the application and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Off Hill Activities
Include shopping at Vail, Breckenridge, the Dillon outlet mall, tennis, broomball, soccer, volleyball, and swimming. FUN - FUN - FUN - FUN
Food
A hot breakfast buffet is provided every morning via Copper and our cooking staff serves two home cooked meals for lunch and dinner. On Thanksgiving, we cook a complete turkey dinner with all of the trimmings. Please note any special dietary needs on the application.
Study Hall
Our camp also offers a study hall with a tutor to help with any homework. We have time each day for schoolwork. Internet connection is also available.
Flight Information
Flight - Book flights as early as possible!
Flight arrangements are your responsibility. A great website for low priced tickets is www.kayak.com. Airport pick up times are 11:00, 2:30, 5:30 and 8:30. Our coaching staff will pick you up at the airport.
Arrival - November 21, between 10:00 A.M. and 8:30 P.M. - MT @ Denver International
Departure - November 29, in the AM if possible @ Denver International
